A truly diverse island, visitors are always amazed by the many contrasts to be found on the island. This resort is adjacent to Playa De Las Americas and was the site of the first hotels that were built in the early 1960´s to cater for tourists in the south. Originally a small fishing village “Los Cris” has developed into the main port in the south with regular crossings to the neighbouring islands of la Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. Los Cristianos has retained its original charm of being a small laid back resort in spite of the spate of recent development in the area. We are able to offer several good quality hotels and apartments and one of our particular favourites is the 4 Star Hotel Reveron Plaza located in the town square.
Is located between the airport and Playa De Las Americas and has grown up and been developed around the 27 hole golf course. This purpose built resort offers everything that a holidaymaker may need whilst on vacation such as a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The close proximity of the 27 hole golf course and it’s 18 hole neighbour at Amarilla Golf makes Golf Del Sur a favourite for Golfers. Is a resort 15 minutes further down the coast from Playa De Las Americas. This small development features hotels that have emphasis on on-site activities, as the resort itself is small, although there are several small bars and restaurants to be found. The two main features are the lido located on the seafront and the new and imposing 5 Star Roca Nivaria Hotel.
Are two very well established and traditional resorts to be found in the South about an hours drive from the airport. Playa De La Arena is famous for it’s black volcanic sandy beach and Los Gigantes for it’s towering cliffs. The pace of life here is sedate and evening walks along the promenade are an institution.
This was Tenerife’s first custom built resort and is found in the North of the Island and the longest established most complete of all resorts on Tenerife. The Old Town is very pretty in parts and it is one of the few resorts where the locals still work, eat and drink. Much of the area around the old fishing port is full of narrow cobbled streets packed with colonial architecture. From the South Airport it is a transfer time of 90 minutes although we have some flights that fly to the north airport, which is only 25 minutes away from Puerto. A mix of large hotels and apartments are all located close to the seafront. There are only a few black volcanic sand beaches; however there is the impressive Lido Martianez located next to the sea, which is a very popular and relaxing place to catch the sun and relax. The famed conservation area, Loro Park is located here with its latest additions from the North Atlantic being 2 Orca Whales.
