This famous Parador Hotel is situated in the heart of the Teide National Park 2200 metres above sea level. The hotel lies in front of the dramatic of peak of Mount Teide that itself rises to 3800 metres. With awe inspiring scenery all around that has been the inspiration and location for many feature films, this is a truly a place to get away from it all. The hotel is a popular retreat for walkers and there are many trails leading from the hotel. This is the only Hotel in the whole of the World Heritage Site that is the Teide National Park.
Built in 1962 and refurbished in 1996 the hotel boasts 29 rooms, 28 doubles and 1 single room. The hotel recreates the ambience of a mountain lodge in both the public areas and bedrooms. Facilities include 24 hour reception, guest car park, room service, The famous Parador Restauarnt, a bar, a gym with sauna and a heated pool.
All rooms are modern and have seperate bathrooms, twin/double beds, safe, mini bar, telephone, satellite TV and balcony/terrace with mountain views.
Whether you want to hide away, go exploring the many trails nearby, are a serious hill walker, want to admire the scenery and maybe take the cable car to the very peak of Mount Teide. This hotel will appeal to everyone. |
